Holding Space for Sacred, Empowered Birth Experiences

Birth is more than a moment in time—it is a profound, life-changing experience. My role as a doula, researcher, and advocate is to hold space for you, ensuring you feel supported, informed, and deeply heard throughout your pregnancy, birth, and postpartum journey.

With a blend of research, traditional knowledge, and compassionate care, I walk beside you as you prepare to welcome your baby.

I provide in-person support in Edinburgh & the Lothians and travel to Fife, Glasgow, and the Scottish Borders.

Holding Space for Your Birth Journey

Supporting all Birth Choices

  • Certified Birth Doula

Trained with Red Tent Doulas (Doula UK recognised), I offer gentle, individualised support for birth and postpartum.

  • High-Risk Support & Advocacy

I offer gentle yet firm support to help you feel safe and informed. I can help you connect to your body's innate wisdom and champion physiological birth if needed.

  • Holistic & Inclusive

I honour all birth choices, with training in LGBTQI-inclusive care, anti-racism in maternity, and awareness of diverse birth experiences.

  • Grounded Knowledge

My work in birth companionship and PhD research on birth trauma deepen my understanding of birth. I offer informed, reassuring support.

  • Collaboration with Midwife

I work alongside your midwives and healthcare providers, ensuring your voice is heard and your choices are honoured.

  • C-Section is Birth

Whether planned or unexpected I provide tailored guidance for gentle C-sections, advocacy, and emotional preparation to help you feel present and supported.

Honouring Every Birth, Every Choice

Birth is birth—whether at home, in a hospital, in a birth centre, or via Caesarean section. Every journey into parenthood is valid, powerful, and deserving of deep respect and support.

I stand alongside you, holding space for your choices, ensuring you feel empowered, informed, and emotionally supported. My role is never to impose opinions or oppose medical guidance but to provide research-informed support, helping you navigate your journey with clarity and confidence.

Every birthing person deserves compassionate, non-judgmental care. No matter how your birth unfolds, I will be by your side, ensuring you feel seen, heard, and held.

Empowering Birth Through Science & Soul

Gentle, Reassuring Doula Support for Your Birth Journey

Whether you’re preparing for birth at home, in a hospital, or a midwife-led unit, you deserve unwavering support that nurtures your confidence, choices, and intuition.

I offer two options:

In-Person Doula Support – Hands-on care, advocacy, and emotional grounding throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.

Virtual Doula Support – Continuous guidance, reassurance, and advocacy from a distance, perfect for those who prefer flexible, remote support.

Every birth is unique, and my role is to walk alongside you—holding space, offering knowledge, and ensuring you feel deeply supported.

  • Private sessions to explore birth preferences, comfort techniques, advocacy, and emotional preparation.

  • On-call availability from 38 weeks, in-person or virtual reassurance, and advocacy through labour and birth.

  • Gentle debriefing, newborn care guidance, and a handcrafted postpartum care package.

  • A heartfelt record of your birth journey, with optional keepsake photography upon request.

What is included?

As a PhD student in Business Management, I am conducting a research study exploring birthing parents’ experiences of maternity care in Scotland and am seeking participants to share their insights. If you have given birth in Scotland, your experiences can help shape future maternity care practices.

This study aims to explore best practices and operational standards. By integrating perspectives from both maternity care and operations management, we hope to bridge the gap between best practice guidelines (such as WHO and NICE standards) and their practical implementation. The research will also expand the Quality Maternal and Newborn Care (QMNC) framework through an intersectional lens, considering how operational challenges impact care provision across diverse groups.

Who Can Participate? Individuals who have given birth in Scotland. Take part here!

If you’re seeking informed, holistic, and research-backed birth support, I would love to walk this journey with you.
